Leonie Richter is the daughter of Kerstin Richter and Jan Brandner.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Leonie's father Jan and mother Kerstin left Düsseldorf together for Paris, where they hoped to make a new beginning. But Jan could not forget his sister Julia, and left Kerstin while she was still pregnant. Because of Jan giving up, Kerstin believed it would be impossible for her to have a family with Jan. And so Leonie was raised only by her mother, hoping for some time that her father would return, but later giving up the hope and starting hating him.
Reunion with her father[]
In 2011 she tried to find Jan by posting his photo on the internet. Timo Mendes and Emilio Sanchez, friends of Jan, gave her the address where he lives, but Leonie didn't tell them what it was about. She told her mother she would go on an excursion with her school, but then she immediately flew to Mallorca, where she saw her father, but ran away because she wasn't expecting him to be a priest. In the meanwhile she told Timo why she was looking for Jan, and also told him that she only wanted to tell him what he had done, and then she would be gone. She spent the night at the Mendes finca. The next morning she went to see Jan again. She eavesdropped on a conversation he had with a young pregnant girl. When Jan started talking about the responsibilities of the father, Leonie freaked out and yelled at him, finally telling him that she is his daughter, before running away again. Jan tried to find her and talk to her, but had no luck. After a conversation with Julia Mendes, Leonie arranged a meeting with her father. But Jan was held up by Leonie's mother Kerstin, who came to bring Leonie back home. Timo told Leonie about that, and finally the three met together, with Leonie finally demanding an explanation.
Kerstin finally confessed to Leonie that she has lied to her. She wanted for the two to go back to Paris together, but Leonie refused. After a conversation with her father, Leonie decided to go with her mother anyway, but then at the last minute, Kerstin changed her mind, and asked Leonie to stay. Kerstin returned to Paris alone.
Interests[]
Leonie loves music. She plays the guitar, and has even written some of her own songs, but in her opinion the songs are not really good.

- As Jan and Kerstin, Leonie's parents, left Düsseldorf in October 1997, Leonie must have been born at least in 1998. That would make her 13 years old at the most by 2011. But instead, she is presented as being 17 years old in 2011 by the show.
